She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred J. Mortensen and Anna Mae Mortensen; and her former husband Willard R. Stranz. She is survived by: her husband Ralph B. Szontagh; her daughters, Lisa Siebold (Russell), Julie Zehner (Thomas) and Beth Christianson (Edward); her stepsons, Robert Szontagh (Paula), Rick Szontagh (Tammy) and Tom Szontagh (Lorraine); her grandchildren, Sandra Bade (Tyler), Carlie Siebold, Cameron Zehner, Jack Zehner (Shauna MacMillian), Mackenzie Zehner, Margaret Christianson and Patrick Christianson; her great grandchild Myles Bly Zehner; her sibling Jerry Mortensen (Susan); and her sibling-in-law Gerry Szontagh (Gail).
