He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ashburn of Port Edwards, WI; his children, Eric Ashburn (Jennifer) of Warrens, WI and Elizabeth Ashburn of Minnesota; his stepsons, Steven Stelzer (Melissa) of Cecil, WI and Brian Stelzer (Kimberly) of Wausau, WI; his sister Laura Vechinski (Stephen) of Port Edwards, WI; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Ahles of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Tidal Ashburn of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
