He was predeceased by: his parents, Chong Yang and Ia Vang (Her); and his brothers, Blia Pao and Blong. He is survived by: his children, Lee Vang (Mao), Ka Lee (Pao), Pang Vang (Amarit), Jodi Vang, Debbie Vang, Tou Vang, Song Vang, Pao Fue Vang (Amanda) and Connie Vang; and his siblings, Nhia Lor, Xai Kao, Wa Lee, Ploua and Yer. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
