He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zieher and Meta Zieher (Schauer); his siblings, Norm Zieher (Sally), Jack Zieher (Judy) and Joyce Haefner (John); his parents-in-law, Art and Anita Zabel; and his brother-in-law William "Bud" Zabel (Marilyn).
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice L. Zabel; his children, Linda Durand (Andy) of Vesper, Douglas Zieher (Patty) of City Point and Daniel Zieher (Deb) of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Matt Durand (Sarah) of New Berlin, Trina Zieher (Chris Gilbert) of Stevens Point, Breanna Schiferl (Zach) of Marshfield, Adam Zieher of Appleton and Brad Zieher of Marshfield; his great grandchildren, Ella Durand and Tamisin Schiferl; and his brother-in-law Richard Zabel (Dick) of Wisconsin Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
