He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wegner and Edna Wegner (Reinhardt); his wife Danise Dorfschmidt; and his siblings, Michael, Earl (Babe), Ellen Neuwirth (John), Priscilla Kleinschmidt, Orville and Jeanette Reeves (Earl).
He is survived by: his children, Jacquelyn Hoffman (Christopher), Jeffrey Wegner (Linda) and Jenifer Dassow; his grandchildren, Jonathan Eggers (Michelle), Jessica Buehring (Adam), Rayna Dassow, Kayden Dassow, Olivia Wegner and Lincoln Wegner; his great grandchildren, Dylan Buehring and Lauren Buehring; his sister Sharon Remmington (LeRoy); his sisters-in-law, Delores Wegner and Sally Storm; and his son-in-law Nick Dassow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
