He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover West and Mildred West (Nilsen); his parents-in-law, Roy and Dorothy Rusk; his nephew John; and his friends, Russell Tuura, Tommy Anderson and Steve Katzmark.
He is survived by: his significant other Jean Rusk; his children, James "Jimmy" West and Cindy Lou West; his grandchildren, Troy Katzmark, Marley West, Jesse West (Heidi), Kayla Capuzzi, Kassie Peterson (Josh), Tyler West, Trevor West and Austin West; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Skyler, Iliana, Charlee and Levi; his brothers, Tom West (Pat) and Charles West (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Donna Quist (Pete) and Jim Rusk (Kerry); his nieces and nephews, Mike (Jen), Stacy (Doug), Brad (Hollie), Ryan (Kate), Brian (Nicole), Brett (Shawn), Amy (Matt), Linda, Josh (Rebeckah) and Kristi (Sean); his cousins, Sandy and Jerry; and his pets, Trio and Sophie.
