He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tokar and Mary Lou Tokar (Botten); and his grandparents, Peter, Hannah Botten, John and Rose Tokar.

He is survived by: his children, Nolan Tokar, Jacob Tokar (Jessica) and Rose Tokar; and his siblings, Becky Stuart (Eric), Diane Petrich (Jim) and Joe Tokar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close cousins.
