She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Krebsbach and Margaret Krebsbach (Schneider); her husband Roland Eggebeen; her son Rick Abler; her granddaughter Maggie Abler; her stepgranddaughter Sarah Rachel Eggebeen; her great grandchild Owan G. Abler; her siblings, Joseph, Tom Krebsbach (Juanita) and Mary Ann Kubish (Joseph); and her siblings-in-law, Lucille Krebsbach and Al Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Terrence Abler (Karen) of Plymouth, Keith Abler (Rose) of Plymouth, Duane Abler (Ali) of Sunland, CA and Judith M. Hughes (Robert) of Plymouth; her stepchildren, Kevin Eggebeen (Cara) of Plymouth and Karie Green (Dan) of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Amy Salthouse (Geoff), Adam Abler (Beth), Luke Abler (Gina), Tate Abler (Lindsay), Jaci Abler, Jessica Efthyvoulos (Stephen), Ben Abler, Haley Hughes, Calen Hughes, Ashley Gore (Chris), Brenda Schroeder (Ryan), Bretta Eggebeen, Stephan Green, Alie Thomas (Logan) and Kristen Green; her daughter-in-law Libbie Abler of Plymouth; and her siblings, Vivian Miller, Eloise Barbieur (Bill) and Don Krebsbach of Green Bay. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Verna's name for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.
