He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Schiesl and Hilda Schiesl (Brandl); his brother Leonard Schiesl; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Helen Wachal; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Baumann, Connie Schiesl, Patricia Burkart (Tom), Don Wachal and Jim Schaefer.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Schiesl of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Dean Schiesl (Angie), Mike Schiesl (Brenda), Lee Schiesl (Jackie) and Kelly Miller-Schiesl; his grandchildren, Ethan Schiesl, Alivia Vande Hey (Josh), Jason Schiesl (Macey), Jesse Schiesl (Erika Webber), Joseph, Joshua Schiesl and Dakota Hynek (Andrew); his siblings, Donald Schiesl (Mary), Jack Schiesl and Dorothy Baumann; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Schiesl, Karyl Schaefer and Gene Wachal (Kay). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home (1124 Main St, Whitelaw, WI 54215). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Knollwood Memorial Gardens (1500 WI-310, Manitowoc, WI 54220).
