She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Sixel and Verana Sixel (Brost); her husband Robert O. Boeldt of Peter's Reformed Church; her daughter Mary Ann; her sister Margene Karsted (Milton); and her sisters-in-law, Aroma and Florence.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Boeldt and Susan Boeldt; and her sister Geraldine Korb of Kiel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lou's name.
