It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louella Meinnert (Plymouth, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Schaap and Helen Schaap (Lindow); her husband Milton Meinnert; her parents-in-law, William and Eliza Meinnert; her sisters, Marlene Karsten (Gordon), Gladys Beringer (Willard), Judith Schaap and Cleo Leonard; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Klemme (Lawrence), Anita Derlin (Richard), Dorothy Grunewald (Harold), Willard Meinnert, Walter Meinnert (LaVerne), Harold Meinnert (Marlene), Roger Thomas, Marvin Meinnert and Norbert Meinnert.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Meinnert of Johnsonville, Kenny Meinnert (Kari) of Johnsonville and Jeff Meinnert (Deb) of Johnsonville; her grandchildren, Jake Meinnert (Allison), Wes Meinnert (Kaliegh), Matthew Meinnert (Angie), Michelle Schmidt (Austen) and Emily Birenbaum (Michael); her stepgrandchildren, Bethany Mertes (Jason), Sam Ahrens, Josh Ahrens (Samantha), Cassy Conto (Jessie) and Jeremy Stoelb (Eloiza); and her siblings-in-law, Alice Thomas, Evelyn Meinnert, Jeanette Meinnert, Diana Meinnert and Eugene Leonard. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and 18 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Saron United Church of Christ (W3830 Co Rd J, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Louella's name.
