He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence A. Schmitz and Marcella E. Schmitz (Sippel); and his brother-in-law Jerry Klemme. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Noordyk; his daughters, Miki Wise (Joe), Renee Koch (Paul) and Amy Schmitz; his grandchildren, Max Frechette, James Wise (Dani), Marcus Wise (Alyssa) and Delaney Koch; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Violet and Beckham; and his brother Dick Schmitz (Gini). He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Project Angel Hugs in Plymouth, WI and to the Angels who hugged us at Moments Hospice Care.
