He is survived by: his son Mark Helmke (Carol, family: David Helmke) of Lancaster, WI; his grandchildren, Adaline, Jack of Lancaster, WI and Nicole Helmke (Nicholas Turner) of Hillsborough, NC; his great grandchild Ava; his son Michael Helmke (Ann) of Sheboygan, WI; his granddaughter Amber Helmke (Ryan Lehmann); his great grandchildren, Landyn and Jacob of Sheboygan, WI; his grandson Christopher Helmke (Paul Nowak) of Madison, WI; his son James Helmke (Mari, family: Steven Helmke) of Watertown, WI; his grandchildren, Andrew, Alexander, Anthony of Watertown, WI, Stacy Brault (Matthew) of Green Bay, WI and Christopher DeBus (Christine Hanna) of Cheswick, PA; his great grandchildren, Jaeden and Kamryn of Albia, IA; his son-in-law Douglas Allds of Pardeeville, WI; his granddaughter-in-law Breanna Dziubla (Ryan); his brother William Helmke (Laurie) of Plymouth, WI; his siblings-in-law, David Hartman of Plymouth, WI and Patricia Holfeltz of West Bend, WI; his granddaughter-in-law Dana DeBus of Albia, IA; his wife Jillene; his daughter Kim Marie Allds; his siblings, John, Robert Helmke and Bonnie Hartman; his parents-in-law, Raymond and MaeBelle Holfeltz; his siblings-in-law, John Holfeltz, Barbara Helmke and Connie Holfeltz; and also, Abigail and Caleb of Deforest, WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jim's name.
