He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Schwonek and Mattie Schwonek (Schmuhl); his son Steven; his brother-in-law Richard Bortz; and his niece Pamela Gaedtke.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Miley; his sister Rayola Bortz; his children, Jean, Dave and Julie Nelson (Tim); his grandchildren, Kimberly Jorgensen (Darin), Melissa Kordus (Drew), Eden Kaminski, Joshua and Alivia Nelson; his great grandchildren, Jax and Ava Kordus; his niece Julie Dewitz (Christopher); and his nephew Terry Bortz (Lynn). He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Suchon Funeral Home (1317 WI-67, Plymouth, WI 53073). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
