He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Meininger and Alma Meininger (Reineking) of Plymouth; his parents-in-law, Emil and Mabel Langkabel (Hogue) of Plymouth; his siblings, Karl, Raymond, Jim, Thomas, Jane Heine (Keith), Margaret Smith (John), Ruth Donovan and Elizabeth Payne; and his brothers-in-law, Harold, Norman, Raymond, Edward, Herbert, George and Donnie Langkabel.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Langkabel; his daughters, Ann Savaglio (Fred) of South Carolina and Jennifer Piper of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kevin Piper (Crystal) of Tennessee, Carrie Savaglio of Illinois and Christopher Savaglio of Illinois; his great grandchildren, Owen, Aubrey and Jane Piper; his sisters, Judy Johnson (Russ) of Appleton and Julia Miller of Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Roland Langkabel of Oregon, Pat Langkabel of Kentucky and Carol Langkabel of Plymouth.
