He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Madson and Margaret Madson (Knoeck); his wife Bernadette Madson; his son Scott Madson; his parents-in-law, Theresa and Joseph Schad; his sisters, Arlene Schleh (Roman), Marjorie Jahncke (Charles) and Lou Ann Neumeyer (Gilbert); his partner Carmel Wycklendt; and his siblings-in-law, Barney Schad (Lillian), Gertrude Litz (Frank), Norman Schad (Delores), Alois Schad (Lillian), Josephine Schaefer (Ed), Frank Schad (Helen), Ray Schad (Alice), Alfred Schad (Arlene), Mary Schmitz (Ken), Anita Franzen and Roman Schad.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Geiser (Charlie), Marlene Zutz (Mike) and Amy Recore (Don Lallensack); his daughter-in-law Renee Madson; his grandchildren, Wendy Schneider (Scott), Isaac Loritz, Eric Zutz (Amy), Brady Zutz (Victoria), Whitney Schamburek (Cody), Austin Recore (Melanie), Brandon Recore (Madeline Duggan), Nicole Feck (Bill) and Emily Stemper (Jake); his great grandchildren, Tarik Schneider, Deagan Schneider, Auddra Loritz, Brantlee Loritz, Ryker Zutz, Liam Zutz, Noah Feck and Landon Feck; and his siblings-in-law, Glenroy Franzen (Brenda) and Janice Schad.
