It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J Dettling of Plum City, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dettling and Katherine Dettling (Horn); his wife Darlene Lee; his grandson Kyle Barker; and his siblings, Dorothy Sticht (Art), Robert Dettling (Ann) and Ethel Capitani (Joe).

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Truttmann (Scott) of Hager City, Jim (Polly) of Red Wing, MN, Steve (Dorene) of Welch, MN and Joe of Plum City; his grandchildren, Rustianna and Alaina; his great grandchildren, Tate, Mason, Carson, Maddie, Chloe and Mia; and his sister-in-law Marlys Lee of Merrifield, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
