He is survived by: his son Kirk Goretski (Jolene Christianson); his brother Donald Goretski (Kathy Eiden); his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Goretski and David Duranceau; his nieces and nephews, Austin James, Brendan, Rylee and Maya; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Paul, Ryan (Katherine), Lyle, Heather Eiden and Carol Maes (Joe); and his goddaughter Brenda Williams.
