He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kliegl and Annabelle Kliegl; his wife Violet Duitsman; his stepmother Lillian Kliegl; his parents-in-law, Hillis and Dorothy Duitsman; and his granddaughter Abigail Weieneth.
He is survived by: his children, Sandi Weieneth (Bob) of Webster City, IA, Ruth Faivre of Elroy, AZ, Patricia Sipla (Greg) and Paul Kliegl (Julie); and his grandchildren, Bradley Olson, Trisha Vaughter (Lee), Jaclyn Frymark (Justin), Casey Schoettmer, Dustin Schoettmer (Katie), Martina Johnson (Rachael) of Michael Johnson, AJ, William Weieneth (Paris), Becky Barrett (Cody), Danielle Kliegl and Lucas Kliegl.
Paul coordinated a million-dollar endowment between the Blanc family and the Tomorrow River Community Foundation to develop, build, and maintain the Lettie W. Jensen Memorial Community Center opening in August of 1988.
