She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Vandehey and Margaret Vandehey (Derby); her sister Janet Manz; her brother-in-law Robert Manz; her brothers, David and Gerald Vandehey; her nieces, Cheryl Manz and Connie Provost; her nephew Timothy Vandehey; her in-laws, Arnold and Ida Scherwinski; and her siblings-in-law, Ervin Scherwinski and Delores Senderhoff.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Scherwinski; her children, Dean Scherwinski (Bilgee), Julie Stepanovich (Slav), Gary Scherwinski, Paul Scherwinski (L'Rae), Dennis Scherwinski (Elizabeth) and Douglas Sherwin (Tracy); her grandchildren, Nathan (Ashley), Leah (Zach), Craig, Kelly (Jamie), Jeremy, Sara, Noah, Madalyn, Hannah, Ben and Nick; her great grandchildren, Emma, Liza, David, Cora and Lila; and her in-laws, Ruth Scherwinski, Darlene Schofield (Bill), Lloyd Scherwinski (Reta), Dave Senderhoff and Al Scherwinski (Cindy).
