He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Evans and Ethel Evans; and his sister LaVerne Koch (Evans). He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn (Lynn); his children, Rebecca Greene (Nick) of Milwaukee and David Evans (Leanna) of Kansas City; and his grandchildren, Nora, John, Evan, Cara and Kendall. He is also survived by his loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the Family requests donations be made in Jim's name to the Portage County Historical Society, or to a charity of your choice.
