She is survived by: her son Ronald Shimek; her brother Carl Bortz (Donna); and her cousins, Karen Spreda (Mark), Chris Derzinski (Mike), Ken Kulich, Scott Kulich (Jackie) and Debra McMahon (David). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
