He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Pagel; his brother Todd Pagel; his father-in-law Don Hartwig; and his brother-in-law Ron Donham. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Pagel (Mathwich) of Wausau; his wife Donnell Hartwig of Plover; his children, Jessica Platt (Chris) of McFarland and Joshua Pagel of Plover; his grandchildren, Tyler Pagel, Addison Miskowski, Brooklyn Pagel, Bode Miskowski, Brynley Pagel, Abbey, Ella and Olivia Platt; his sisters, Sue Pagel and Lori Brandt (Dan); his nephew Jason Brandt; his niece Olivia Grandlic (Adam); and his mother-in-law Barb Hartwig.
