He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Scholey and Anna Scholey (Scott); his son Robert "Bobby" D. Scholey; and his siblings, Duane Scholey and Mariane Steinmetz.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores J. Christiansen; and his children, Kris Wharton of Bedford, TX, Scot Scholey of Kenosha and Gary Scholey of Kenosha. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
