She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Stevens and Hilda Stevens (Leidholdt). She is survived by: her husband Rev. Nicholas J. Balk; her children, Nicholas P. Balk of Mt. Pleasant, Melissa Jeranek (Robert) of Kenosha and Allison Bonner (Kevin DeBruin) of Pleasant Prairie; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Patrick, Debra, Emily, Daniel, Megan, Katherine, Stephen, James, Jessica, Abigail, Sarah and Nicholas; her sister Dorothy Hedman of Rice Lake; her friend Merry Sanders; and her children, Dennis Berg, Jesse Christian and Patricia. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
