She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin "Erv" Vierk and Myrtle Vierk (Steinbach); and her brothers, Tom and Vern Vierk. She is survived by: her husband Robert Salzwedel of Pleasant Prairie; her children, Robert E. Salzwedel (Teresa) of Scottsdale, AZ, Scott Salzwedel (Sherie) of Portland, OR, Bruce Salzwedel of Libertyville, IL and Suzanne Salzwedel (Ron Wisiewski) of Lake Bluff, IL; and her grandchildren, Haley, Tori, Nick, Will and Whitney.
Nancy was also extremely active in the Lake Forest Historic Preservation Foundation.
