He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Lenore Elwell; his parents, Augustus Julius Walther and Mary Murphy Walther; and his siblings, Joseph, Francis, Meltha, Henrietta and Celine.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Bisig (Kevin) of Apache Junction, AZ, Nora Orrick (Don) of Pleasant Prairie, Joe Walther of Pleasant Prairie, Linda Walther of Pleasant Prairie, Leonard Walther (Maria) of Aurora, IL, MaryAnn Robinson (Steve), Judy Bubser (Mike) of Deerfield, IL and David Walther of Minneapolis, MN; his niece Debbie Plunkett of Kenosha, WI; his siblings, Clare and Bernard; and his friends, Terry Peters of Gurnee and Lee Bledsoe of Zion. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
