He is survived by: his close friend Jim; his wife Donna Tainter of Pleasant Prairie; his children, Lorie Dahl of Kenosha and John Tainter Jr. (Kris) of Kenosha; his siblings, Richard Bichsel of Elkhorn, Gerald Tainter and Barbara Lisney (Paul) of Madison; his grandchildren, Jason Tainter Kenosha (Tabby), Christopher Tainter Kenosha (Heidi), Brandon Dahl Kenosha (Beth), Steven Tainter Pleasant Prairie, Kyle Dahl Kenosha (Emily), Danielle Dale (Clayton) of Florida, Leah Gustavus Pleasant (Brian) and Cori Toman Bristol (Pete); his stepgranddaughters, Angie and Branna Vite Kenosha; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Tainter, Lacey Dale, Olivia, Fin, Scarlet Dahl, Lena, Ruby, Riley Guthavus, Baylee Tainter and Ensley Toman; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sofia Garcia, Michael Smith and Annaleigh Russo.
