He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank B. and Florence Gott Sr.; and his sister Grace Hawes. He is survived by: his wife Katharina M. Wittman; and his sons, Sam "Jim" Gott, Ron Gott and Frank Gott III (Elaine). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and his three great grandchildren.
