He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Kahl and Angeline Fisher (Frisle); his wife Kathleen Marsh; his grandson Alex John; and his great grandchild Jack Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Kristie Wilson (John) of Kenosha, John Kahl (LuAnne) of Kenosha, Roy Kahl (Kristine) of Pleasant Prairie and Sara Kahl of Kenosha; and his sister Charlotte Matousek (Jim). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
