He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Perry and Betty Sims (Skinner); and his son Evan Perry Sims. He is survived by: his children, Elyse Owie (Gaius), Jeremy (Kelley), David (Heather) and Neil Sims; and his grandchildren, Amenze, Adaze, Zy'ar, Uki and Charlotte.
