She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reuter and Rose Mae Reuter (Wunderlin); her siblings, Matilda Reuter, Rosemary Reuter, Loretta Miesen (Emil), Wilma Fuerstenberg (Joe), Clinton and Clifford Reuter (Loretta); and her brothers-in-law, Herbert Klein and Charles Melssen.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Melssen; her children, Matilda "Tilly" Weigel (Tim), Joe Melssen (Karla), Jane Donar (Jerry), Gail Krause (Kris), Lenny Melssen and Ken Melssen (Michelle); and her siblings, Dorothy Klein, Anna Stelpflug (Gene) and John Reuter (Rose Marie). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
