The passing of Tyler Thomas Weigel of Platteville, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 33. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Stephen Kopp, Calvin, Margaret "Peg" Weigel and Jim Brehm; his aunt Karen Heer; his cousin Jennifer Weigel (Cord LaBarge); and his pets, Toasty and Big Tiddy.

He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Weigel and Kelli Weigel (Kopp); his wife Catherine Weigel; his children, Maya and Cord Weigel; his brother Jake Weigel (Abbey); his nieces and nephews, Ethan, Greyden and Maci; his grandmothers, Geri Brehm and Paula Kopp; his parents-in-law, Connie and Bob Haberkorn; his brother-in-law Shawn Wunderlin (Jill, family: Gavin, Hailey, Preston, Brad Wunderlin, Jared, Tristen, Bentley); his grandparents-in-law, Garland and Vyra Gotzinger; and his close friends, Doseph Don, Dilly, Tuzi and Pebbles. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Broske Center (400 Pitt St, Platteville, WI 53818).

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Tyler "Fred" Weigel memorial fund.
