We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2023, at the age of 83, Thomas P. Schaffner of Platteville, Wisconsin, born in Harvey, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul W. Schaffner and Geraldine V. Schaffner (Curry); and his brother Robert Schaffner. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Schaffner; his children, Peggy Emrich (Rambr) of Hollandale, WI, Susan Lindsey (Jody) of Savannah, GA and Paul Schaffner of Dubuque, IA; his sister-in-law Mary Schaffner of Fitchburg, WI; his grandchildren, Jaron, Jasmine, Eryn, Bryna, Noah and Lisa; his great grandchild Jaxton; his nephew Michael Schaffner (Melissa); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Calvin, Izzy and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, a Thomas P. Schaffner Memorial Fund has been established.
