He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Monahan and Freda Monahan (Ubersox); his sister Bev Monahan; his granddaughter Haley Ann Leffler; and his parents-in-law, George and Theresa Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wilson; his children, Stacey Hentrich (Jeff), Brian Monahan (Ronna), Todd Monahan (Sarah) and Tamara Dietzel (Jeff); his grandchildren, Heather, Ryan Hentrich, Trenten Leffler, Nicole, Tiffany, Ashley Monahan, Cole Peña, Bree Monahan, Morgan and Mitchell Dietzel; and his siblings, Bill Monahan (Sharon), Maxine Lane (Steve), Eileen Engelke (Gary) and Pam Farnham (Tim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
