She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Chase and Edith Chase (Suhr); and her siblings, Lawrence Chase, Velma VanNatta and Helen VanNatta.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Hughes (Sandy) of Cuba City, Stephen Hughes of Potosi, Judith Hughes of Cheyenne and Jean Melssen of Belmont, WI. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
