He is survived by: his mother Carol Loeffelholz (Edge); his wife Mary Jo; his stepchildren, Connie Dettman and Mike Karnopp; his grandchildren, Alyssa Hawkins (Mike) and Wade Dettman (Jocelyn); his great grandchildren, Addison, Esperanza and Bennett; and his siblings, Jim, Tim (Kristi), Larry (Lori) and Mary Hagen (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to community projects in Richard's honor.
