He is survived by: his wife Marsha Clayton; his daughter Jill Fisk (Steve); his grandsons, Elijah (Lyubov) and Jacob (Skyler); his great grandchild Elise; his grandchildren, Hannah, Isaac and Stephen; his son Jason McDermott (Jodi); his grandchildren, Jessica Estrada (Pifa), Andrea, Scott and Samantha; and also Linda Johnson Kirkman.

“Marsha and all of Paul's family and friends. We are very sorry for your loss. Paul was such a great guy, We enjoyed each time we saw him. His smile is something I will never forget. Marsha, on a lighter note, Paul's smile and your Dad's smile had something in common... kind of made you wonder "hey, what are you up to?". A little mischeifious to say the least :), one of the many things we loved about them. Yes, both were very fine men. May God bless and comfort you in this sad time.”
