It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Joseph McDonald (Platteville, Wisconsin), born in Kendall, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick W. McDonald and Elizabeth McDonald (McKeon); his wife Lorna Mae; his parents-in-law, Edward and Idella Amenda (Rehmstedt); his siblings, James, Ray, Lawrence, Leo Francis, Kathryn Quinn (James), Anna Donahoe (Joe), Judy Byrnes (Cletus), Marie Kliebenstein (Bernie) and Teresa Lehner (George); and his brother-in-law Robert Amenda.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis McDonald (Mary) of Belmont, WI, Mike McDonald (Denise) of Belmont, WI, Julie McDonald (Steve Walstrum) of Dubuque, IA, Jerry McDonald (Rose) of Peyton, CO and Tim McDonald (Nicky) of Mineral Point, WI; his grandchildren, Carrie Vida (Michael), Tony McDonald (Jess), Brian McDonald (Leah), Katie Sedbrook (Steve), Pam Johnstone (Rick), Scott McDonald (Ashley), Jeff McDonald (Alaina Reeves), Vicki Webb (Mitch), Ken McDonald (Liz), Laura Mayer (Matt) and Mandy Dahlheimer (Andy); his great grandchildren, Collin, Alexis Vida, Ashley, Bradley, Cora McDonald, Hailey, Landon, Blaine McDonald, Kloe, Avvy, Emerson Sedbrook, Phillip, Violet, Walter Johnstone, Aspen McDonald, Carson, Sara Webb, James Mayer and Calon Dahlheimer; his nephews, Paul McDonald (Deb) of Chicago, IL, Peter McDonald (Amy) of Onalaska, WI and Andy McDonald (Alicia) of Milwaukee, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Camilla McDonald, Cathy McDonald, Jeanne Amenda and Larry Amenda (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
