We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2022, at the age of 91, Neta Viola Sheldon of Platteville, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ward and Ada Ward (Wickham); her siblings, Leone Verville, Della Ward, Mildred Atkisson, Neva Williams, Maynard Ward, Lenn Ward, Charles Ward, Marvin Ward and Mina Ward; her parents-in-law, Clara Sheldon and Harrison Sheldon; her siblings-in-law, Ethleen Sheldon, Dorothy Buch Schambow, Harry Sheldon, Donald Sheldon and Anson Sheldon; her son-in-law David Arling; her nephew Harrison Sheldon; and her nieces, Diane Jackson (Buch) and Jean Spease (Buch).
She is survived by: her children, Alan Sheldon (Victoria) of Madison, Janet Monahan (Ron) of Shullsburg, Gail Arling of Cuba City and Karla Goodney of Platteville; her grandchildren, Brian Sheldon (Teri), Jennifer Berendes (Jay), Brandon Popp (Trina), Kelly Altfillisch (Josh), Megan Langsdorf (Dustin), Matthew Goodney, Jeremy Arling (Kim), Ryan Arling and Adam Arling; her great grandchildren, Jacob Berendes, J. J. Berendes, Haleigh Bratton-Bennett, Mckenna Altfillisch, Owen Langsdorf and Fiona Langsdorf; and her sister-in-law Ruth Dull. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
