It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Lynn Mair of Platteville, Wisconsin, born in Edgerton, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Westly Stockman and Jean Stockman; and her sister Sandra Franks (Merle). She is survived by: her husband Mike Mair (Steak House); her children, BJ (Tara Kleiber) of Janesville and Tracy Harle (Mark) of Platteville; her grandchildren, Leah, James Harle, Jaden Mair and Justin Speer; and her siblings-in-law, Julie Effinger (Mike) of Scottsdale and Scott Mair (Deb) of Plano, Texas.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers: The Nancy Mair Memorial Scholarship will be established by her family for Platteville High School young women that exemplify the values Nancy's PEO sisters hold dear. Memorial contributions can be sent to Melby Funeral Home or Platteville United Methodist Church, designated for the "Nancy Mair Memorial Scholarship.".
