It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Nelson of Platteville, Wisconsin, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur E. Aldene and Emma Aldene (Anderegg); her granddaughter Jessica Wang; and her brothers, Arthur D. and Wade Aldene.
She is survived by: her husband Dwight F. Nelson; her daughters, Diane Nelson, Rebecca Welter (Joe), Laurie Karns (Rich), Cindy Nelson (Tom Nykolayko) and Christine Davis (Gerald); her grandchildren, Tony Wang (Lauren), Emily Wang, Angel Caploe (Kyle), Makayla, Michael, Marcus Karns and Jaylen Davis; and her stepgrandchildren, Brandy Welter (Casie), Crystal Kirk (Kevin), Jacob Welter (Brittany) and Jason Ruskell. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
The family is requesting during your time at the church to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
