He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Gassman and Rosemary Gassman (Flogel); and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Jane Cooper; his children, Charman Reuter (Dan) and Bob Gassman; his grandsons, Tom and Cale Reuter; his siblings, Arlene Roling-Casel (Jon), Zelda "Zee" Wood (Jim), Mary Bredeson (Jim), Jim Gassman (Joanie), Sylvester "Sy" Gassman (Sandy) and John Gassman (Lois); and his sister-in-law Sara Randall (Jerome). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
