She is survived by: her husband Larry Ames; her children, Angela Weitzel (Ed) and Rodney Peterson (Sherri); her granddaughters, Brianna Bower and Gina Philippi (Cody); her great grandchildren, Liam Bower and River Philippi; and her siblings, Elmer Krohn, Gordon Krohn, Beverly Broughton, Cheryl Parsons and Adele Merfeld.
