It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James R. Klinger of Platteville, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Klinger and Thelma Klinger (Patten); his brothers, Paul and John; his siblings-in-law, Tom Doser, Judy Doser and Opal Klinger; and his great grandchildren, Henry Heller and Brady Heller.

He is survived by : his family Platteville; his wife Julie Doser; and his children, Jan Wunderlin (Terry), Mary Klinger, Joe Klinger, Jill Leytem (Terry), Sally Magby (John), Kathy Klein (Gary) and Linda Stombaugh (Chris). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (130 W Cedar St, Platteville, WI 53818). A rosary was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:40 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jim Klinger Memorial Fund.
