With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen H. Ingersoll of Platteville, Wisconsin, born in Belmont, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Heins and Gertrude Heins (Bellmeyer); her husband Melvin Ingersoll; and her siblings, Verna Heins, Nina Schweitzer (Henry), John Heins, George Heins (Gladys), Guerdon Heins (Loretta) and Ervin Heins (Florence).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Boettcher (Roger) of Madison, Karen Heiser (Tom) and Kelly Ingersoll (Jill) of Platteville; her grandchildren, Leslie Boettcher (David Toy) of Madison, Lindsay Heiser-Barger (David) of Madison, Lauren Heiser-Ertel (Jim) of Sun Prairie, Dr. Jenna Ingersoll (Jordan Lacore) of Ashland and Brandon Ingersoll (Theresa) of Platteville; and her great grandchildren, Leanna, Owen, Eric, Wesley Boettcher-Toy, Parker, Laken Ingersoll, Everett, Vivian Barger, Fritz Lacore and Felicity Ertel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Helen Ingersoll Memorial Fund, which will go to charities that Helen held dear to her heart.
