He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert B. Tranel and Irene A. Tranel (Heim); his nephews, Benjamin M. Fleege and John E. Mullin; and his grandparents, John Henry, Julia Tranel (Imbus), Joseph and Theresa Heim (Berger).
He is survived by: his siblings, Delores "Dee" Woolf (Terry), Elaine Mullin, Kathy Herting (John), Myron Tranel (Sheila), Greg Tranel (Sharon), Bernard Tranel, Mark Tranel (Sue), Diane Fleege (Matt) and Betty Buss (Chris); and also Lemfco. He is also survived by twenty nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Gilbert H. "Junior" Tranel Memorial Fund.
