She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kaukl and Helen Kaukl (Jindrick); her spouse Aelred "Al" Schaefer; and her siblings, William Jr, Marvelene Kaukl and Laverne Kaukl.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Davis, Jennifer Habte (Zewdu), Joel Schaefer (Ann), Gerard Schaefer (Andrea), Julie Hale (Randy), Jacinta Henden (Philip), Denice Roth (John), Jeff Schaefer (Martha) and Lisa Sarenac. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
