He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hollenberger and Goldie Hollenberger (Nickel); his wife Linda Jentz; and his siblings, Lois Carlson, Shirley Eisele, Joe Jr., Walter and Ivan Hollenberger.

He is survived by: his sons, Jay Hollenberger (Joy), Jeff Hollenberger (Heidi), Dale Hollenberger (Myra) and Dan Hollenberger (Ann); his grandchildren, Jessica Beck (Kevin), Justin Hollenberger (Jamie), Jamie Jarocki (Taylor), Eve Hollenberger, Abby Hollenberger, Hanna Ragsdale (Adam), Ashley Kadar (Brian), Heather Hollenberger (Daniel Davis) and Taylor Hollenberger; his great grandchildren, Jack Hollenberger, Hunter, Finley Ragsdale and Lyanna Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy, Mabel Hollenberger, Betty Millard and Mervin Jentz (Helen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
