She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Edge Jr; her parents, Fred Klinge and Alma Klinge; her son Douglas A. Edge; her siblings-in-law, Kenny Whitcher, Walter Edge (Dorothy) and Charlotte Cullen (Everett); her nephew Mike Engelke; and her great-nephews, Greg Adrian, Roy Schambow and Keith Taber.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Peake; her grandson Bryan J. Peake (Kelsey Moreland); her sister Fern Whitcher; and her nieces and nephews, Bev Taber (Tom), Betty Schambow (Roger), Barb Canon (Mike), Sheri Engelke, Karla Witzig (Ty), Lou Ann Adrian (Steve), Susan Hrubes (John), Ron Klinge (Cindy), Will Klinge and Bryan Klinge. She is also survived by cousins, extended relatives, and many dear friends.
The family requests that in lieu of plants/flowers to please make contributions to three organizations that Carol has selected, the Grant County Cancer Coalition, Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance, or the Platteville area event center at Legion Field.
